In the 2nd minute Wit Dziewedik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Dziatkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Klewinski got free with Barnaba Nieuzyla in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Wit Dziewedik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kwaski Sandomierz's Edward Dziatkowicz. Edward Dziatkowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 minutes, Jaroslaw Furtok made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kwaski Sandomierz's Edward Dziatkowicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kwaski Sandomierz's Edward Dziatkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Furtok in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Furtok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Dziatkowicz. Kwaski Sandomierz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Furtok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kwaski Sandomierz's Edward Dziatkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Furtok in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Kwaski Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Ciechocki. In the 31stth minute of the game Jaroslaw Furtok who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kwaski Sandomierz's Edward Dziatkowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Dziatkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Dziewedik in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Bernard Cebula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karol Kornatowski came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the KS Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Kornatowski couldn't finish the play. When KS Ruch Chorzów's Jaroslaw Furtok in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Szymon Puch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Kissel to maneuver through the defense. Edward Dziatkowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Furtok in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Roman Koczara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kwaski Sandomierz and the KS Ruch Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Kwaski Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Roman Koczara. Wit Dziewedik might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Dziatkowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wit Dziewedik ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Furtok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Dziatkowicz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of KS Ruch Chorzów booed when Kwaski Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Cebula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Furtok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Dziatkowicz having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Kwaski Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Puch. KS Ruch Chorzów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
