A collision led to TS Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ludomir Tarasek hit a great ball. Czeslaw Jerzyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TS Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kazimierz Mierzejewski hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Krzysztof Pieprz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Wodzisław Śląski and the TS Wisła Kraków players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Krzysztof Pieprz got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute TS Wisła Kraków were awarded a corner. Benedykt Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Frenzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half TS Wisła Kraków were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugeniusz Kaminski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, TS Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Szostak came free, but Zbyszek Golec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Frenzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Gamza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, TS Wisła Kraków's Grzegorz Prus got a free kick in the 58th minute. Zbyszek Golec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Winnicki in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel got control of the ball when Marek Majewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominik Gamza in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedykt Kiszkiel saved MZ Wodzisław Śląski from getting behind. Benedykt Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Gamza in the 75th minute of the match. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Prus in the 93rd minute of play forced MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Boruc Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TS Wisła Kraków's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
