Tobiasz Gdowik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walery Jaruzelski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Walery Jaruzelski was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Tobiasz Gdowik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tobiasz Gdowik really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Walery Jaruzelski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Tobiasz Gdowik might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walery Jaruzelski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobiasz Gdowik ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robertas Lewandowski in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walery Jaruzelski saved Wisła Kraków from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robertas Lewandowski in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walery Jaruzelski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertas Lewandowski in the 20th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Walery Jaruzelski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Robertas Lewandowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walery Jaruzelski. The goal made the score 4-0. After 28 played minutes Robertas Lewandowski rounded Wisła Kraków's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. Zielonka Gdansk's Robertas Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krzysztof Kluska did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Walery Jaruzelski 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th play minute Krzysztof Kluska came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walery Jaruzelski. 7-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wisła Kraków fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Zielonka Gdansk's Robertas Lewandowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Walery Jaruzelski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeusz Skorny was the one to do the kick off. If Krzysztof Kluska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Szczepan Plachetka hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Hugon Bykowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zielonka Gdansk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Janusz Puchlik hit a great ball. Hugon Bykowski took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Jaruzelski. Walery Jaruzelski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 62 minutes into the match, Janusz Puchlik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walery Jaruzelski. Wisła Kraków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janusz Puchlik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Walery Jaruzelski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 66th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Zielonka Gdansk's Krzysztof Kluska made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walery Jaruzelski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Plachetka in the 75th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Walery Jaruzelski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Robertas Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Jaruzelski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Jaruzelski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Kluska, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 14-0 became the score in the 79th minute when Krzysztof Kluska elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Kluska in the 82nd minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Walery Jaruzelski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Bykowski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Jaruzelski. Walery Jaruzelski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. In the 89th minute, Hugon Bykowski made a precise shot to the right of Walery Jaruzelski. Wisła Kraków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. In the 93rd match minute, Zielonka Gdansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Puchlik to maneuver through the defense. Walery Jaruzelski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Gdowik in the 96th minute of the match.
