After 3 minutes, Klement Niedbalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIRA -ŁÓDZ and the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Klement Niedbalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Hugon Kilar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Czeslaw Przybylo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Czeslaw Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Modliszewski in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when MIRA -ŁÓDZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Oryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mieszko Majusiak was a little too slow when Klement Niedbalski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. Roch Nocny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Mieszko Majusiak made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Hugon Kilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Czeslaw Przybylo. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugon Kilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tomasz Wisniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Czeslaw Przybylo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Kilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Patryk Modliszewski in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ryszard Zima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patryk Modliszewski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Kilar in the 53rd minute of play forced MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goalkeeper Czeslaw Przybylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Slawomir Laba hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Damaski. In the 59th minute, Patryk Modliszewski made a precise shot to the right of Czeslaw Przybylo. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Purzycki in the 63rd minute of play forced MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goalkeeper Czeslaw Przybylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Roch Nocny made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Majusiak was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ defense, Klement Niedbalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mieszko Majusiak. The KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mieszko Majusiak should have stopped the shot. Czeslaw Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Kilar in the 92nd minute of the match. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Czeslaw Przybylo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MIRA -ŁÓDZ from getting a goal against them. Czeslaw Przybylo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Wisniewski in the 94th minute of play. Hugon Kilars short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Czeslaw Przybylo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The MIRA -ŁÓDZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
