After a rather tough play, MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Wiktor Birkenhagen got a free kick in the 11th minute. With his leg Czeslaw Przybylo managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Czeslaw Domala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 15th minute of the match Wiktor Robak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mieszko Majusiak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jurand Filipowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIRA -ŁÓDZ the free kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Jan Jaraczewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Czeslaw Przybylo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Jan Jaraczewski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Czeslaw Przybylo to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th of the match, Jan Jaraczewski tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Czeslaw Przybylo got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Nocny in the 30th minute of play forced KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Mieszko Majusiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mieszko Majusiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Niedbalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Mieszko Majusiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Nocny in the 32nd minute of play. Jurand Filipowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Roch Nocny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Majusiak having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Bogumil Rasiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIRA -ŁÓDZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Klement Niedbalski charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klement Niedbalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MIRA -ŁÓDZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Klement Niedbalski hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Domala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Radowit Oryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes, Bogumil Rasiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIRA -ŁÓDZ and the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes MIRA -ŁÓDZ got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Rasiak. In the 55th minute, Czeslaw Domala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jurand Filipowski kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Mieszko Majusiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Nocny in the 58th minute. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when MIRA -ŁÓDZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Zima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Slawomir Laba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Czeslaw Przybylo skillfully saved the ball. Klement Niedbalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Walczak to maneuver through the defense. If Czeslaw Domala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Czeslaw Przybylo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Wisniewski in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Kiewra to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Roch Nocny reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mieszko Majusiak. The goal made the score 1-2. Jan Jaraczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Przybylo having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, MIRA -ŁÓDZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Rasiak to maneuver through the defense. Tomasz Wisniewski took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Czeslaw Przybylo. Czeslaw Przybylo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
