Wiesenfeld SA's Kazimierz Sokolski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wiesenfeld SA booed when POLONIA BYTOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Sroka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Grabowicz hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ryszard Lerych stood somewhat misplaced when Norbert Wodaszak came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. Dawid Patrylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Kiepski in the 11th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes POLONIA BYTOM got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Jarosiewicz. Ryszard Lerych stood somewhat misplaced when Radowit Majerowicz came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Radowit Majerowicz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ryszard Lerych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wiesenfeld SA. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Majerowicz in the 25th minute of play. Ryszard Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Majerowicz in the 31st minute of play. Ryszard Lerych was a little too slow when Radowit Majerowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Ryszard Lerych had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Radowit Majerowicz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kazimierz Sokolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wiesenfeld SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Sokolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Lerych breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute of the match, Radowit Majerowicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ryszard Lerych saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Mateusz Damazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Wodaszak in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radowit Majerowicz was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Bartosz Kiepski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zdzislaw Sroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Wiesenfeld SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Tyszka to maneuver through the defense. In the 69thth minute of the game Radowit Majerowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Wiesenfeld SA were awarded a corner. Roch Kaczanka went to the cornerflag to take it. Zdzislaw Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Dawid Patrylo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Hieronim Jaszcz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the POLONIA BYTOM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Jaszcz couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Tytus Charamut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Radowit Majerowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryszard Lerych was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience was convinced that Radowit Majerowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryszard Lerych was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
