The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Ignacy Latocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Mudry. LOTOS WARSZAWA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacy Latocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. LOTOS WARSZAWA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Florian Mudry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes of play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aleksander Gruchacz made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Mudry was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Aleksander Gruchacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Mudry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aleksander Gruchacz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Gruchacz couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes of play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ziemowit Trzenzalski made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ignacy Latocha made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LOTOS WARSZAWA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dobromir Karaszkiewicz hit a great ball. Florian Mudry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, LOTOS WARSZAWA's Florian Mudry got control of the ball when Ziemowit Trzenzalski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Trzenzalski got free with Florian Mudry in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florian Mudry came out and tried to block the shot, but Aleksander Gruchacz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 94th minute. When the match was over Zawisza Bydgoszcz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LOTOS WARSZAWA throughout the match.
