Jedrzej Grucza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Borowski in the 4th minute of play. Aleksander Limanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Gwidon Fujara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Grucza skillfully saved the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goalkeeper Boruc Siwek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Biskupiak. Krzysztof Biskupiak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boruc Siwek came out and tried to block the shot, but Krzysztof Biskupiak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. In the 16th minute, Kajetan Klucznik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Grucza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jedrzej Grucza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Skarpa Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Narbut. Jedrzej Grucza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Maziarski in the 23rd minute of the match. Boruc Siwek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Biskupiak in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Cyryl Liberko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Skarpa Ełk getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Korneliusz Narbut hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Piotr Borowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Grucza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 38th minute, Piotr Borowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lech Max fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Jedrzej Grucza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Maziarski in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Biskupiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Erland. With a little luck, Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Maziarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zygmunt Erland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jedrzej Grucza made a huge save. In the 64th minute Mateusz Wojtkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boruc Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Skarpa Ełk's zone, Zygmunt Erland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Grucza came out of the goal and Zygmunt Erland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boruc Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateusz Wojtkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Kocieniewski to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Klucznik came free, but Jedrzej Grucza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Zdzislaw Maziarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Grucza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Maziarski in the 89th minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boruc Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Wojtkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jedrzej Grucza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Erland in the 92nd minute. Korneliusz Narbut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Siwek having to interfere. Zdzislaw Maziarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Lech Max left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skarpa Ełk.
