MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save MKS Legion Częstochowa from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Andrzejewski. In the 28th minute Norbert Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Skrzypek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Polster took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Skrzypek. Olaf Skrzypek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Olaf Skrzypek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Bambas in the 37th minute of the match. Tytus Pawlik charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tytus Pawlik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Pawlik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Skrzypek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Polster, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MKS Legion Częstochowa were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Bambas made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Andrzejewski to maneuver through the defense. Józef Pilsudski came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olaf Skrzypek could save by the left post. 55 minutes into the match, REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F.'s goalkeeper Olaf Skrzypek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Polster. Józef Pilsudski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Skrzypek having to interfere. Tymoteusz Brudzisz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Olaf Skrzypek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Polster in the 67th minute of play. When Jedrzej Kiepski fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Legion Częstochowa's protests and gave Jedrzej Kiepski a yellow card for diving instead. Jedrzej Kiepski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Matuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F.'s Olaf Skrzypek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Polster in the 78th minute of play. The REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MKS Legion Częstochowa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
