The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkon Mylliin got free with Hugo Hørbøll in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernst Aarsing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zekeriya Özbekkan in the 23rd minute of play. Ernst Aarsing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zekeriya Özbekkan's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Hugo Hørbøll made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Samuel Grabow sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hvam FC booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoffer Lindtoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berthold Sibbern kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Samuel Grabow came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Hoberg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Grabow couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Grabow to make the kick off.
