In the 6th minute 任正振 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Hård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Niels Agerbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Vestegnens Betonhelte's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Vesterø came free, but Kåre Hård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyge Oehlerich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sjef John's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wolfgang Vesterø in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Hård saved Vestegnens Betonhelte from getting behind. Wolfgang Vesterø took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kåre Hård. Kåre Hård dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Therkel Norstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 30th minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Kåre Hård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vestegnens Betonhelte booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Rosby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjarke Amstorp charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bjarke Amstorp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarke Amstorp to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vestegnens Betonhelte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Militaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Pheonix FC's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Wolfgang Vesterø made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Gabe Gaab got a free kick in the 51st minute. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Kåre Hård got control of the ball when Wolfgang Vesterø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tyge Oehlerich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabe Gaab in the 63rd minute of play. When Wolfgang Vesterø fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pheonix FC's protests and gave Wolfgang Vesterø a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wolfgang Vesterø hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjarke Amstorp. Holger Sarl's late challenge caught a Pheonix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Sarl helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vestegnens Betonhelte getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Holger Sarl hit a great ball. Pheonix FC's Bjarke Amstorp managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frans Hall in the 73 minute of the game. Wolfgang Vesterø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kåre Hård came out and tried to block the shot, but Wolfgang Vesterø slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 77th minute. Wolfgang Vesterø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kåre Hård read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, 任正振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Vesterø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kåre Hård was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pheonix FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
