The supporters of Jungle Circus booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Militaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torbjørn Præstensgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjørn Præstensgaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes, Jungle Circus's Buster Haarby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jungle Circus reached it. In the 5th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einer Therkelsen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Militaru got free with Florin Pruneda in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Pruneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 任正振, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jungle Circus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Militaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Pheonix FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pheonix FC's corner Marcel Militaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florin Pruneda quite easily take care of the ball. Florin Pruneda made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Wolfgang Vesterø sent off a good shot on target. Wolfgang Vesterø scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Pruneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Kossuth in the 27th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jungle Circus's Eduino Tarin in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute of the game Buster Haarby made a throw-in which Ariel Revel played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wolfgang Vesterø in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Pruneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Eberhardt Martinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang Vesterø to make the kick off. Florin Pruneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Rosby hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Wolfgang Vesterø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Jungle Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Vesterø came free, but Florin Pruneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Wolfgang Vesterø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pheonix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Vesterø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Pruneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florin Pruneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Jungle Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Vesterø came free, but Florin Pruneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Wolfgang Vesterø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jungle Circus's Florin Pruneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wolfgang Vesterø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Pruneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pheonix FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malte Eriksen was slow to take the kick. During this time Jungle Circus's players had a chance to rest. When Jonathan Rosby was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Rosby. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Torbjørn Præstensgaard got a free kick in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jungle Circus's Dirch Pilbak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tyge Oehlerich. That made the score 2-1 after 90 minutes of play. Tyge Oehlerich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirch Pilbak, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Tyge Oehlerich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Eriksen in the 96th minute. Pheonix FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
