The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Halvor Bjørngaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eilif Hørmand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Nordvest Fodbold's Ambrosius Spangsbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eilif Hørmand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 14th minute, Runar Rottwitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asker Thuehøj hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eilif Hørmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosius Spangsbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Randkleve's Heine Nyster got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Randkleve's Calle Feldberg in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Harold Bergfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Calle Feldberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Stubbergaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Calle Feldberg made the kick off in the second half. Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Randkleve from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nordvest Fodbold getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ambrosius Spangsbo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Hedemose got free with Eilif Hørmand in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Fredsholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Randkleve's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosius Spangsbo came free, but Eilif Hørmand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Halvor Bjørngaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loui Stubbergaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Feldberg in the 75th minute of the match. Eilif Hørmand didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. 82 minutes into the match, Nordvest Fodbold's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Feldberg came free, but Loui Stubbergaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvor Bjørngaard in the 92nd minute of play forced Randkleve's goalkeeper Eilif Hørmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennet Hedemose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eilif Hørmand having to make a save.
