An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Bergfos in the 31st minute of play forced AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Terkild Lukasen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Randkleve booed when AB Tårnby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teis Okking didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Adelsbøll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Terkild Lukasen. AB Tårnby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 41 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Lauritz Hasson. After a defensive mix-up in Randkleve's zone, Teis Okking stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eilif Hørmand came out of the goal and Teis Okking tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heine Nyster stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AB Tårnby getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lauritz Hasson hit a great ball. Terkild Lukasen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heine Nyster in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Randkleve defense, Erik Valsgard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eilif Hørmand. The Randkleve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eilif Hørmand should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Lauritz Hasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AB Tårnby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Randkleve the free kick. Erik Valsgard hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. AB Tårnby's Lauritz Hasson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bertil Adelsbøll in the 76 minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Nicolaus Strufve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernard Fredsholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terkild Lukasen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heine Nyster in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teis Okking in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eilif Hørmand prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
