Sune Heidal scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Van Dyck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Brandhøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Alex Wenike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bøje Dyssen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sune Heidal struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gabriel Van Dyck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monks in Robes. 14 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Sune Heidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Van Dyck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Uggeløse SIK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pascual Di Cola hit a great ball. Reinar Lennild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Van Dyck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Kenny Ebsøe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Heidal in the 35th minute of play forced Uggeløse SIK's goalkeeper Gabriel Van Dyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Van Dyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Heidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Uggeløse SIK booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bartosz Salamon fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monks in Robes's protests and gave Bartosz Salamon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Uggeløse SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Brandhøj to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Holger Brandhøj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Dyssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Uggeløse SIK defense, Sune Heidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Van Dyck. The Uggeløse SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Van Dyck should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Wenike to make the kick off. Alex Wenike's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bøje Dyssen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Sune Heidal took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Van Dyck. Gabriel Van Dyck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Holger Brandhøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Henry Juelsborg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uggeløse SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. Henry Juelsborg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Uggeløse SIK's Manoel Linhares was substituted for Seyfettin İlican. Uggeløse SIK made a substitution. Georg Lindvig replaced Holger Brandhøj. Pascual Di Cola kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Walmir Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Uggeløse SIK's goalkeeper Gabriel Van Dyck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sune Heidal. In the 83rd minute, Sune Heidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Van Dyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 90 minutes into the match, Alex Wenike notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen. Bøje Dyssen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Heidal got free with Gabriel Van Dyck in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monks in Robes's Dennis Kølbel suffered a sore thigh after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 95 minutes into the game, Paul-Émile Larousse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uggeløse SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Uggeløse SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Émile Larousse to maneuver through the defense. The Monks in Robes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monks in Robes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
