Volodymyr Beletskyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Audrius Dūdėnas made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Audrius Dūdėnas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Volodymyr Beletskyi. After a rather tough play, FC Vershina ESPN's Borys Turetskyi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gintautas Jameikis scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artem Gordya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting a goal against them. FC Vershina ESPN's Volodymyr Beletskyi managed to work through FC Pegasas Siauliai's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Volodymyr Beletskyi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Vershina ESPN's Ivan Lysytsjkyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Audrius Dūdėnas. That made the score 1-2 after 32 minutes of play. After the first half FC Pegasas Siauliai were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Lysytsjkyi was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Borys Turetskyi during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Vershina ESPN's Borys Turetskyi got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Lysytsjkyi in the 79th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Audrius Dūdėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Ivan Lysytsjkyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Audrius Dūdėnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Audrius Dūdėnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Lysytsjkyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Audrius Dūdėnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lysytsjkyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lysytsjkyi came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Audrius Dūdėnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volodymyr Beletskyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Rodion Skorobrekh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Darijus Baltrūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Darijus Baltrūnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artem Gordya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
