Shymkent Camels's Ivan Merkushev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijus Guzas in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Deividas Pavilionis hit a great ball. Ivan Merkushev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petras Tamašauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darijus Baltrūnas's late challenge caught a Shymkent Camels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darijus Baltrūnas helped the player get up and apologised. Darijus Baltrūnas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Rustam Chernetsov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Audrius Dūdėnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eigirdas Liubinskas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eigirdas Liubinskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Eigirdas Liubinskas. After 23 minutes of play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Gintautas Jameikis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Merkushev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimir Lipnyakov charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Lipnyakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimir Lipnyakov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Deividas Pavilionis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, one of FC Pegasas Siauliai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Shymkent Camels's Süleyman Erim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Audrius Dūdėnas. In the 37th minute Gintautas Jameikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Merkushev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Shymkent Camels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süleyman Erim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when Shymkent Camels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Erim didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gintautas Jameikis was the one to do the kick off. Demyan Silkin scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Audrius Dūdėnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shymkent Camels's Ivan Merkushev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Shymkent Camels from getting a goal against them. After having played for 65 minutes, Valentas Daunoras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentas Daunoras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Demyan Silkin came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gintautas Jameikis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Gintautas Jameikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Merkushev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Marijus Guzas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Merkushev. The goal made the score 2-3. After 84 played minutes Shymkent Camels got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Erim. After a rather tough play, Shymkent Camels's Süleyman Erim got a free kick in the 87th minute. Darijus Baltrūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
