After 7th play minutes Martin Mangion shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Edgar Samuelsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Edgar Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 9th minute of play. Edgar Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Savona, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Sliema Dragons FC's Julian Savona in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leader of Lemurs's goalie prevented a goal. Rigers Bekolli kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's Julian Savona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Samuelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fran Ibi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leader of Lemurs booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Deguara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Isaac Grimaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sliema Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leader of Lemurs the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Isaac Grimaud got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leader of Lemurs's zone, Julian Savona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Samuelsson came out of the goal and Julian Savona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Isaac Grimaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Sliema Dragons FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Mangion to make the kick off. 0-3 became the score in the 53rd minute when Julian Savona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Isaac Grimaud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Edgar Samuelsson made a huge save. Edgar Samuelsson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion. But to his dismay, Martin Mangion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 67th minute, Julian Savona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mangion in the 71st minute of play forced Leader of Lemurs's goalkeeper Edgar Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leader of Lemurs's Isli Hoxha got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Leader of Lemurs booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Mangion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Leader of Lemurs got a freekick which was hit by Danjel Bashaj. Edgar Samuelsson was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Julian Savona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Savona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 89 minutes into the match, Leader of Lemurs's goalkeeper Edgar Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Grimaud.
