Julian Savona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menduh Tupa having to make a save. Menduh Tupa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 16th minute of play. Marcelo Severiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Big Small went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gaudencio Tximitx scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Severiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute Martin Mangion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menduh Tupa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menduh Tupa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mangion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Martin Mangion hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Big Small who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Englantin Qeraxhiu made a great header on UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz's corner, it was just that Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Bruno replaced Martin Mangion. In a very dangerous position, a player in UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Menduh Tupa made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Isaac Grimaud sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Bruno to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Severiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Big Small. Marcelo Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javiero Frias in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz got a corner. Sliema Dragons FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Englantin Qeraxhiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcelo Severiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Frias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 88 played minutes UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz got a freekick which was hit by Glaukia Plepi. After some careless play in the UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz defense, Ryan Grima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menduh Tupa. The UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menduh Tupa should have stopped the shot. UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz's Menduh Tupa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bruno in the 96th minute of play. The UnikKatiL Bloody Alboz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
