In the 3rd minute, Arūnas Mašalas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Rapinett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Logika's goalkeeper Almantas Mikutavičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Attard Gunners's Jeremy Bonello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almantas Mikutavičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Almantas Mikutavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Vassallo in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Arūnas Mašalas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Logika's supporters rose to their feet, but Arūnas Mašalas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Rapinett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Rapinett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arūnas Mašalas in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Fabio Vassallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FK Logika's Arūnas Mašalas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jeremy Bonello sped through FK Logika's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Almantas Mikutavičius. If Liudas Murauskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aivaras Bajoriūnas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Logika's protests and gave Aivaras Bajoriūnas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when FK Logika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aivaras Bajoriūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almantas Mikutavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 45th minute of play. FK Logika's Almantas Mikutavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 46th minute of play. Almantas Mikutavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Zrinzo in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lawrence De Marco made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lawrence De Marco made a precise shot to the right of Almantas Mikutavičius. FK Logika's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 54 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence De Marco. Thomas Zrinzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Almantas Mikutavičius made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Logika's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jake Debono was slow to take the kick. During this time Attard Gunners's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco to a score. 1-4 in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Almantas Mikutavičius. That made the score 1-5 after 65 minutes of play. Almantas Mikutavičius stood somewhat misplaced when Lawrence De Marco came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 72 minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Arūnas Mašalas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaidas Janavičius in the 76th minute of play. Amadeo Rapinett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's Jake Debono broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The FK Logika supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Attard Gunners's performance. The match ended with a win for Attard Gunners.
