In the 3rd minute, Martin Mangion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 5 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Merūnas Urbelis. In the 6th minute, Ryan Grima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimondas Bitėnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 8 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Grima. Raimondas Bitėnas came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion. But to his dismay, Martin Mangion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Raimondas Bitėnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mangion in the 15th minute of the match. Raimondas Bitėnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Domingos Herena made a precise shot to the right of Raimondas Bitėnas. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Spillmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Neil Deguara. Gediminas Tavoras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Severiano made a huge save. If Domingos Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tautrimas Gabriūnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julian Savona in the 52nd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ryan Grima got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-5. 52 minutes into the match. Michael Spillmann lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Spillmann to maneuver through the defense. Gediminas Tavoras, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Julian Savona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimondas Bitėnas made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Isaac Grimaud sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Isaac Grimaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Grimaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimondas Bitėnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Savona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimondas Bitėnas having to interfere. Ryan Grima charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Grima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryan Grima hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liudvikas Tiškus to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Grima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Raimondas Bitėnas made a huge save. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julian Savona was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 75th minute, one of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI. Domingos Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Tautrimas Gabriūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Gediminas Tavoras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sliema Dragons FC the free kick. After 82 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Gediminas Tavoras. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Isaac Grimaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Grimaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimondas Bitėnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Ryan Grima fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimondas Bitėnas, passed just outside the right post. Raimondas Bitėnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Grima in the 90th minute of the match. If Ryan Grima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tautrimas Gabriūnas in the 97th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Severiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sliema Dragons FC played a much better game than FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI and deserved their victory. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
