Spectators: 197 (Terracing: 149, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Veli Topalli started the match with the kick off. When Leon Desira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Leon Desira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Desira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Leader of Lemurs's Vezir Lumaj got control of the ball when Julian Savona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vezir Lumaj was a little too slow when Isaac Grimaud got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Martin Mangion dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vezir Lumaj, 2-0. Vezir Lumaj made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Martin Mangion sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Martin Mangion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vezir Lumaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Julian Savona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vezir Lumaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Grima in the 18th minute of play forced Leader of Lemurs's goalkeeper Vezir Lumaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Topalli in the 21st minute of the match. Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veli Topalli in the 22nd minute of play. Vezir Lumaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mangion, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vezir Lumaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mangion in the 25th minute of the match. Vezir Lumaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Leader of Lemurs's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mangion came free, but Vezir Lumaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Martin Mangion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leader of Lemurs's Vezir Lumaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vezir Lumaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Savona in the 35th minute of the match. Ryan Grima scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vezir Lumaj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Domingos Herena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vezir Lumaj. Leader of Lemurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Herena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Isaac Grimaud took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vezir Lumaj. Vezir Lumaj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Mangion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Isaac Grimaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vezir Lumaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leader of Lemurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan Grima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 61 minutes into the game, Domingos Herena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sliema Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leader of Lemurs the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Domingos Herena got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Vezir Lumaj came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion. But to his dismay, Martin Mangion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Vezir Lumaj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Grima went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Vezir Lumaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vezir Lumaj was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vezir Lumaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Grimaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Michael Spillmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leader of Lemurs's Vezir Lumaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Grima in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Leader of Lemurs defense, Julian Savona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vezir Lumaj. The Leader of Lemurs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vezir Lumaj should have stopped the shot. In the 88th match minute, Leader of Lemurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tritan Dragoj to maneuver through the defense. Vezir Lumaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Savona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Leader of Lemurs's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Grima came free, but Vezir Lumaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
