The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kęstutis Jakubauskas hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Shpend Hasangjekaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdas Ignatavičius made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Engjëll Sofi sent off a good shot on target. Kipras Gelžinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulin Zhuta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benas Dokšas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulin Zhuta was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23rd play minutes Benas Dokšas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Paulin Zhuta and just under the crossbar into goal. When Algimantas Genčiauskas fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lithuanian amber's protests and gave Algimantas Genčiauskas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute of the game, Algimantas Genčiauskas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Julien Xoxe charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julien Xoxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KF PERMETI getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Julien Xoxe hit a great ball. Vytautas Alsys hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Veli Dumbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdas Ignatavičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredas Pakintis to maneuver through the defense. When Kęstutis Jakubauskas came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Lithuanian amber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kęstutis Jakubauskas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of KF PERMETI booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eligijus Kavaliūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KF PERMETI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lithuanian amber were winning 0-1.

Benas Dokšas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 53rd minute. Lithuanian amber's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Veli Dumbo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes KF PERMETI got a freekick which was hit by Julien Xoxe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benas Dokšas got free with Paulin Zhuta in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 68 minutes, Engjëll Sofi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KF PERMETI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Engjëll Sofi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veli Dumbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdas Ignatavičius having to interfere. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when KF PERMETI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shpend Hasangjekaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Paulin Zhuta managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Lithuanian amber's Benas Dokšas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Valdas Ignatavičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lithuanian amber getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vytautas Alsys hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulin Zhuta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lithuanian amber's Alfredas Pakintis suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, KF PERMETI's Veli Dumbo got a free kick in the 98th minute. After 99 played minutes, Lithuanian amber's Aras Nutautas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulin Zhuta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lithuanian amber reached it. The Lithuanian amber supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lithuanian amber would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
