If Simeon Zibak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainer Sozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Binyamin Noam hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mati Adamski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Ott. FC Triesen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mati Adamski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felix Ott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Zelbitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Maccabi Netanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barel Gavrilov to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Fabian Dietsche notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maccabi Netanya's Freddy Zelbitz. Freddy Zelbitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fabian Dietsche managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Triesen's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Dietsche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Zelbitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabian Dietsche came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Triesen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Dietsche couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Maccabi Netanya's Aviam Rothman got a free kick in the 44th minute. FC Triesen's Fabian Dietsche got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maccabi Netanya's Tesher Goldfarb was substituted for Simeon Zibak.

In the 53rd minute, Fabian Dietsche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Triesen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mati Adamski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ott having to interfere. After 58 played minutes FC Triesen got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Guerreiro. Josy Rehak kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Fabian Dietsche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Zelbitz having to make a save. In the 72nd minute Andy Bjorg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Zelbitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Tesher Goldfarb elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Andy Bjorg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Maccabi Netanya defense, Fabian Dietsche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Zelbitz. The Maccabi Netanya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Zelbitz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Maccabi Netanya booed when FC Triesen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josy Rehak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tesher Goldfarb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andy Bjorg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Dietsche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Freddy Zelbitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes, Konrad Hemmerle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Triesen and the Maccabi Netanya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, FC Triesen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Hemmerle to maneuver through the defense.
