They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Miggiani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Holfenhein's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Miggiani came free, but Ulrich Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Seychell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 65th minute, Benjamin Hörmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulrich Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 67th minute of the match. Ulrich Haas came out of the goal and Wayne Schembri Zerafa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Andrew Miggiani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulrich Haas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Ulrich Haas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Antoine Bugelli rounded Holfenhein's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. 87 minutes into the game, Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulrich Haas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After 89 minutes, Muhammet Cakir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holfenhein and the Seraċini Għawdxin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seraċini Għawdxin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
