In the 12th minute, Richard Pavia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Loïc Payen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Miggiani in the 15th minute. Loïc Payen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Seychell in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Robert Seychell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loïc Payen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Robert Seychell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loïc Payen. FC Lëtzebuerg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Seychell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Izotz in the 40th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Clayton Gerada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abraham Pflaumenbaum made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by kaya Elmacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Richard Pavia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loïc Payen. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lëtzebuerg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
