Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrew Miggiani got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Andrew Miggiani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Svajūnas Božys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Edmundas Kšanavičius. Adolfas Karpis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. James Buttigieg struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Svajūnas Božys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. Laurynas Šarkauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Richard Pavia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Svajūnas Božys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svajūnas Božys came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Antoine Bugelli. But to his dismay, Antoine Bugelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Svajūnas Božys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romualdas Podėris got free with Clayton Gerada in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Giorgio Laferla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Antoine Bugelli came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Seraċini Għawdxin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoine Bugelli couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Antoine Bugelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romualdas Podėris to make the kick off. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Valdas Tindžiulis hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Bugelli got free with Svajūnas Božys in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Antoine Bugelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svajūnas Božys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svajūnas Božys. Svajūnas Božys yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 59th minute, Antoine Bugelli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Svajūnas Božys. The goal made the score 0-6. Richard Pavia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Svajūnas Božys made a huge save. After 63 minutes, Valdas Tindžiulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savage Hippo and the Seraċini Għawdxin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdas Tindžiulis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Seraċini Għawdxin's Richard Pavia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoine Bugelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Svajūnas Božys made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredas Klenkys in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clayton Gerada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th play minute Andrew Miggiani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Svajūnas Božys. 0-7. 76 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Seychell came free, but Svajūnas Božys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Antoine Bugelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svajūnas Božys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 78th minute of the match. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdas Podėris in the 80th minute of the match. Robert Seychell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Adolfas Karpis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svajūnas Božys was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antoine Bugelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 91 minute of play. Antoine Bugelli struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Svajūnas Božys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. When the match was over Seraċini Għawdxin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Savage Hippo throughout the match.
