Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Vanghele 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ulrich Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Vanghele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ruslan Pânzaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Puturoasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruslan Pânzaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrich Haas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Sergiu Ramos got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund's Muhammet Cakir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund reached it. 19 minutes into the game, Stefan Vanghele recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulrich Haas. Stefan Vanghele showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Ulrich Haas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Scobioalã kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulrich Haas. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Rissi Risch. Ulrich Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Eugen Bumbu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhammet Cakir in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Salgado saved UFC Puturoasa from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Büchel in the 35th minute of the match. Eugen Bumbu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Muhammet Cakir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emil Scobioalã received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulrich Haas came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Scobioalã slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Scobioalã in the 43rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Scobioalã made a kick off. Ulrich Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Vanghele, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ulrich Haas came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Puturoasa's Emil Scobioalã. But to his dismay, Emil Scobioalã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 55th minute Emil Scobioalã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Alexei Caraman made a precise shot to the right of Ulrich Haas. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Rissi Risch put in a rough tackle. 65 minutes into the game, one of Borussia Dortmund:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulrich Haas came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Puturoasa's Alexei Caraman. But to his dismay, Alexei Caraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Kevin Poonoly hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Vanghele in the 78th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Scobioalã scored 12-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulrich Haas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Alexei Caraman came free, but Ulrich Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruslan Pânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhammet Cakir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammet Cakir to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Ruslan Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UFC Puturoasa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
