BumboTava's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Absoliut the free kick. Laimnesis Pauks hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmārs Ciekals in the 18th minute of play. Algitas Girkantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zigrīds Paupers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Algitas Girkantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zigrīds Paupers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gunārs Melveris made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eižens Barakalns. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidijus Andrišiūnas in the 25th minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play BumboTava's Laimnesis Pauks was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to BumboTava getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Laimnesis Pauks hit a great ball. The supporters of Absoliut booed when BumboTava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Cuca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zigrīds Paupers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Girkantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BumboTava's Zigrīds Paupers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidijus Andrišiūnas in the 40th minute of play. Absoliut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Algitas Girkantas in the 41st minute. The corner led Absoliut's Henrikas Lisauskas to fire away a dangerous shot which Zigrīds Paupers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BumboTava's Miervaldis Balčūns got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Absoliut were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidijus Andrišiūnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Algitas Girkantas during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Algitas Girkantas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zigrīds Paupers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Girkantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Absoliut's Ovidijus Andrišiūnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zigrīds Paupers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ovidijus Andrišiūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Algitas Girkantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Absoliut were awarded a corner. Algitas Girkantas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Absoliut's corner Algitas Girkantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zigrīds Paupers quite easily take care of the ball. The corner led Absoliut's Algitas Girkantas to fire away a dangerous shot which Zigrīds Paupers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Absoliut's Algitas Girkantas in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BumboTava's goalie prevented a goal. Gunārs Melveris got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eižens Barakalns. BumboTava's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Algitas Girkantas scored to the left of an out of position Zigrīds Paupers, making the score, 0-4. The throw-in from Gunārs Melveris in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Absoliut's Osvaldas Nutautas. Šarūnas Žvigaitis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zigrīds Paupers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Absoliut. Don Cuca made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Absoliut's Osvaldas Nutautas. In the 92nd minute, Šarūnas Žvigaitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BumboTava's zone, Šarūnas Žvigaitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigrīds Paupers came out of the goal and Šarūnas Žvigaitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Absoliut's Šarūnas Žvigaitis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zigrīds Paupers. That made the score 0-5 after 97 minutes of play. Absoliut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
