FK LIQENORET were furious when Migjen Bekolli was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 20th minute, one of FK LIQENORET:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK LIQENORET. The referee gave Æsir Ásgarðr a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sólbjörn Guðnason, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Sólbjörn Guðnason's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hajredin Kamberi was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Vallaður Hermansson got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, FK LIQENORET's Yllson Tafilaj got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sólbjörn Guðnason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Eris Aliu made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Genti Piqoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK LIQENORET and the Æsir Ásgarðr players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hajredin Kamberi had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Sólbjörn Guðnason's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sólbjörn Guðnason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ámundi Hallmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hajredin Kamberi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FK LIQENORET getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eris Aliu hit a great ball. FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 67th minute of play. Elmaz Hysi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Hajredin Kamberi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 79th minute of the match. Hajredin Kamberi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason. But to his dismay, Sólbjörn Guðnason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 87 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Kormáksson. When Jarl Kormáksson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Æsir Ásgarðr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarl Kormáksson couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, FK LIQENORET's goal looked a bit too open when Ámundi Hallmundsson came free, but Hajredin Kamberi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Yllson Tafilaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, FK LIQENORET's goal looked a bit too open when Sólbjörn Guðnason came free, but Hajredin Kamberi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hajredin Kamberi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK LIQENORET players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Æsir Ásgarðr.
