In the 9th minute, Football Club Zestafoni's Khvicha Pulishvili dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Paata Podolyakin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Paata Podolyakin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kolbeinn Ármannsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kolbeinn Ármannsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paata Podolyakin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Skjöldur Reimarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatiy Pilievi having to interfere. Mathías Oddsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Skjöldur Reimarsson made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Football Club Zestafoni's Ignatiy Pilievi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kolbeinn Ármannsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paata Podolyakin in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Paata Podolyakin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kolbeinn Ármannsson. The goal made the score 2-2. Ignatiy Pilievi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Skjöldur Reimarsson in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Naskhida Cheishvili scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kolbeinn Ármannsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Football Club Zestafoni's Khvicha Pulishvili in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Æsir Ásgarðr's goalie prevented a goal. Neisti Runólfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paata Podolyakin in the 57th minute of play forced Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Kolbeinn Ármannsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valiko Urushadze kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Skjöldur Reimarsson in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignatiy Pilievi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Football Club Zestafoni's Naskhida Cheishvili got a free kick in the 69th minute. Neisti Runólfsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Naskhida Cheishvili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kolbeinn Ármannsson. Æsir Ásgarðr's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naskhida Cheishvili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Paata Podolyakin's late challenge caught a Æsir Ásgarðr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paata Podolyakin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Football Club Zestafoni getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Paata Podolyakin hit a great ball. Kolbeinn Ármannsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paata Podolyakin in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Football Club Zestafoni's Aydin Zabelin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Naskhida Cheishvili was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Skjöldur Reimarsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Ignatiy Pilievi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Football Club Zestafoni were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Æsir Ásgarðr for a fine match.
