Orestas Nauronis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Vaggelis Ruvelas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice moves Deukalion Sotiris could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Regimantas Petrulionis however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigitas Jurkaitis in the 19th minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Sigitas Jurkaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Malavazos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Mindaugas Milašius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nadruvis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OMONOIA the free kick. Mindaugas Milašius kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Raimundas Ostrauskas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 50 minutes had been played. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Nadruvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundas Ostrauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubertas Bosas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Polybos Malavazos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mindaugas Milašius shot from long distance in the 56th minute, but Polybos Malavazos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Ruvelas in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Regimantas Petrulionis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Nadruvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubertas Bosas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigitas Jurkaitis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Polybos Malavazos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadruvis. Regimantas Petrulionis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deukalion Sotiris went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Polybos Malavazos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubertas Bosas went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Hubertas Bosas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Polybos Malavazos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubertas Bosas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Polybos Malavazos came out and tried to block the shot, but Hubertas Bosas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Nadruvis's Hubertas Bosas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polybos Malavazos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, OMONOIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Liudas Klimaitis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sigitas Jurkaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Liudas Klimaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
