Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Calleja in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branden Shelton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton De Battista during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Anton De Battista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branden Shelton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Calleja's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Meerkats FC's Leonard Calleja in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K.F TIRANA's goalie prevented a goal. Frederick Scicluna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorald Lazaj in the 11th minute of play. Paco Cano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Jorald Lazaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Scicluna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Kozma Poci put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frederick Scicluna. In the 27th minute Zach Gerada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes K.F TIRANA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Portanier who took care of the corner kick. Branden Shelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Calleja in the 33rd minute of play. Anton De Battista kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Paco Cano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederick Scicluna came out of the goal and Paco Cano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Paco Cano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Meerkats FC's Frederick Scicluna. Frederick Scicluna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kozma Poci came free, but Frederick Scicluna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes in the game Martin Rapinett did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zach Gerada. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Martin Rapinett made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zach Gerada immediately put the ball in play. After 51 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Mao Zhen Xing. K.F TIRANA were furious when Jonas Arvidsson was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 54 minutes into the match, Robert Portanier notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton. Branden Shelton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Kozma Poci got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonard Calleja succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 64th minute Leonard Calleja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Wincenty Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K.F TIRANA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Marsel Spaha. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Calleja in the 74th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Kozma Poci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Portanier. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Zach Gerada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branden Shelton was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
