Luo Guo shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Frederick Scicluna was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 30th match minute, Nadruvis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigitas Jurkaitis to maneuver through the defense. Meerkats FC's Leonard Calleja got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Musu in the 35th minute of play forced Nadruvis's goalkeeper Regimantas Petrulionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zach Gerada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Amadeo Darmanin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Amadeo Darmanin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Zach Testaferrata Viani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regimantas Petrulionis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubertas Bosas was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Musu got free with Regimantas Petrulionis in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Nadruvis fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Nadruvis's Deividas Rimeika looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76thth minute of the game Deividas Rimeika who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meerkats FC's Frederick Scicluna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zach Testaferrata Viani during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Zach Testaferrata Viani. If Hubertas Bosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Kevin Musu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deividas Rimeika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Scicluna having to interfere.
