The referee showed Olsi Berberi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Akademia Maliqi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Olsi Berberi hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Janko Kaplan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.R.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Janko Kaplan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Akademia Maliqi's Enkelejd Muka made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armen Werthein was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Akademia Maliqi defense, Janko Kaplan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guxim Buna. The Akademia Maliqi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guxim Buna should have stopped the shot. When Oran Tahiri fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akademia Maliqi's protests and gave Oran Tahiri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Akademia Maliqi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Oran Tahiri hit a great ball. Guxim Buna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliya Tabachnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Janko Kaplan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Guxim Buna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janko Kaplan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guxim Buna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guxim Buna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janko Kaplan in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute G.R. were awarded a corner. Yehoshua Kolai went to the cornerflag to take it. Hiram Malik hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Akademia Maliqi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sefedin Gega to maneuver through the defense. Akademia Maliqi's Guxim Buna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Kaplan in the 37th minute of play. Guxim Buna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yefet Bar-Zohar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Guxim Buna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janko Kaplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guxim Buna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yefet Bar-Zohar in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yefet Bar-Zohar in the 47th minute of play forced Akademia Maliqi's goalkeeper Guxim Buna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half G.R. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliya Tabachnik to make the kick off. Armen Werthein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oran Tahiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Guxim Buna made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eliya Tabachnik sent off a good shot on target. Akademia Maliqi's Guxim Buna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Akademia Maliqi from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Eliya Tabachnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guxim Buna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Armen Werthein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sefedin Gega in the 64th minute of the match. When Akademia Maliqi's Oran Tahiri in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye G.R.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Zion Mauda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Oran Tahiri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armen Werthein was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Paulin Balliu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Eliya Tabachnik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.R. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 87th minute Oran Tahiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armen Werthein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oran Tahiri scored 2-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armen Werthein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Akademia Maliqi booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoash Coppel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akademia Maliqi's Sefedin Gega got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliya Tabachnik took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guxim Buna. Guxim Buna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. G.R.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
