After a rather tough play, AFC United's Honorato Zubillaga got a free kick in the 4th minute. AFC United's Alejandro Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Vivera in the 7th minute of play. Alejandro Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vivera in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Mulas in the 12th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Badia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucho Bustamante in the 15th minute. After 26 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Castel Mulas. 27 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when William Vivera came free, but Alejandro Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC United's Alejandro Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Vivera in the 31st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Alejandro Badia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Club Ibiza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Archibaldo Ahumada ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Archibaldo Ahumada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emerson Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. William Vivera scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Badia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector-Luis Conllas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Emerson Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With 85 minutes on the clock, Dominic Querendil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
