The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafel Mejia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Lucho Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innocenzio Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Club Ibiza got a freekick which was hit by Rafel Mejia. Lino Raymond took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiano Cañon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthew Murguia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson Leão saved Club Ibiza from getting behind. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastiano Cañon in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Innocenzio Alcalde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antony De Avila. Emmanuel Vilaprenyo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Seth Troxler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Bustamante in the 52nd minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Innocenzio Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leontin Răica hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Nunez Ugartondo was substituted for Januário Gouveia. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Ximenes Arganzua was substituted for Matthew Murguia. The supporters of Club Ibiza booed when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s zone, Antony De Avila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innocenzio Alcalde came out of the goal and Antony De Avila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game William Vivera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Innocenzio Alcalde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Ibiza were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
