Diablos Rojos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Gabon Teja scored to the left of an out of position Celestino Villamañan, making the score, 2-0. Oriche Cadrecha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oriche Cadrecha to make the kick off. Sebastian Montoya made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Frantxizko Serra sent off a good shot on target. When Iratxo Bernabeytia fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conjunto Paisa's protests and gave Iratxo Bernabeytia a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Conjunto Paisa got a freekick which was hit by Iratxo Bernabeytia. In the 55th minute of the match Xabel Barga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Montoya skillfully saved the ball. Aureo Tofiño's late challenge caught a Conjunto Paisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureo Tofiño helped the player get up and apologised. Aureo Tofiño kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match.
