Sebastian Marino's late challenge caught a Diablos Rojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Marino helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Rufio Gorvea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celestino Villamañan. Rufio Gorvea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibalt Guibar in the 22nd minute of play forced INTERNAUTAS FDC's goalkeeper Cayo Ituarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Villamañan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rufio Gorvea sent off a good shot on target. Cayo Ituarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriche Cadrecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diablos Rojos's Frantxizko Serra suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 28th minute, Ciro Portas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayo Ituarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibalt Guibar in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, INTERNAUTAS FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Portas to maneuver through the defense. Cayo Ituarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Majua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Tibalt Guibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayo Ituarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Rufio Gorvea notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan. Celestino Villamañan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Donio Folgueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cayo Ituarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriche Cadrecha in the 55th minute of play. Ermengol Uriszar charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermengol Uriszar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes INTERNAUTAS FDC got a freekick which was hit by Ermengol Uriszar. 73 minutes in the game Clodoveo Majua after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Cayo Ituarte. A very good opportunity. Celestino Villamañan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Guizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in INTERNAUTAS FDC's zone, Oriche Cadrecha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayo Ituarte came out of the goal and Oriche Cadrecha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when INTERNAUTAS FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Esteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayo Ituarte was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teodor Froiz. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Ciro Portas put in a rough tackle. 94 minutes into the game, Xabel Barga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cayo Ituarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donio Folgueira in the 97th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
