Sebastian Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Torrascasana's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute Ciro Torrascasana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Conjunto Paisa's Izel Ajorbe got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yeferson Soteldo in the 23rd minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Sebastian Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yeferson Soteldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Montoya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match Locaio Massana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Montoya skillfully saved the ball. Izel Ajorbe made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabon Teja. Sebastian Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yeferson Soteldo in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gabon Teja came free, but Tiburcio Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Izel Ajorbe fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conjunto Paisa's protests and gave Izel Ajorbe a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernando Torrealba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Conjunto Paisa booed when Criciúma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Rincón didn't get a good kick on the ball.
