The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sebastiano Torrienta hit a great ball. Vicente Davalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufio Gorvea in the 5th minute of play. If Rufio Gorvea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to INTERNAUTAS FDC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sebastian Marino hit a great ball. Cayo Ituarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belasko Folguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Portas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Sebastiano Torrienta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayo Ituarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VERDOLAGA CITY FC reached it. In the 23rd match minute, INTERNAUTAS FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matia Ibisate to maneuver through the defense. INTERNAUTAS FDC's Cayo Ituarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save INTERNAUTAS FDC from getting a goal against them. INTERNAUTAS FDC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Rocio Camerin scored to the left of an out of position Cayo Ituarte, making the score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Raúl Navarro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Cayo Ituarte to make any attempt to save it. Cayo Ituarte was a little too slow when Gudesteo Peñas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. Cayo Ituarte made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Terciero Orantes sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Davalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufio Gorvea in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rufio Gorvea to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rocio Camerin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayo Ituarte. INTERNAUTAS FDC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rocio Camerin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Cayo Ituarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gudesteo Peñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Gudesteo Peñas made a precise shot to the right of Cayo Ituarte. INTERNAUTAS FDC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Belasko Folguera got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Chap Cobo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Sebastian Marino came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the INTERNAUTAS FDC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Marino couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Benicio Guizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Davalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayo Ituarte came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Belasko Folguera. But to his dismay, Belasko Folguera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Rufio Gorvea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Davalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufio Gorvea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Rufio Gorvea notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Vicente Davalos. Vicente Davalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cayo Ituarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocio Camerin in the 91st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Naldo Esteve put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd match minute, INTERNAUTAS FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Esteve to maneuver through the defense. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Sebastiano Torrienta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gudesteo Peñas scored 8-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayo Ituarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
