The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Botella in the 4th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Villamañan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when Fire Breathers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Botella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Villamañan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goizeder Parserises, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Telo Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Villamañan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presebal Baldes in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodor Froiz during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Froiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Presebal Baldes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Villamañan. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Presebal Baldes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 41 minutes into the game, Teodor Froiz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fire Breathers FC's Jorge Botella quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Celestino Villamañan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presebal Baldes in the 42nd minute of the match. When Presebal Baldes got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Celestino Villamañan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Cadrecha came free, but Rik Sirguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jorge Botella hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Goizeder Parserises received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celestino Villamañan came out and tried to block the shot, but Goizeder Parserises slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Gaston Durango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Villamañan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Presebal Baldes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute Goizeder Parserises shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Fire Breathers FC got a freekick which was hit by Xose Zabarte. Gaston Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Presebal Baldes could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Celestino Villamañan however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute, Presebal Baldes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celestino Villamañan, passed just outside the right post. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Presebal Baldes in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Presebal Baldes. Fire Breathers FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Diablos Rojos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Goizeder Parserises took the corner. Baiardo Forcadas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fire Breathers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
