But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Killer couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Severo Killer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpasús FC - FDC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Killer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Severo Killer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Niguel Agreda fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRUGGE FC's protests and gave Niguel Agreda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BRUGGE FC's Niguel Agreda got a free kick in the 16th minute. Severo Killer struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gualterio Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpasús FC - FDC. 19 minutes into the game, Niguel Agreda threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carpasús FC - FDC's Baumar Atencio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Niguel Agreda made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Carpasús FC - FDC's Loreto Monedero. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Carpasús FC - FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Campomanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpasús FC - FDC's Severo Killer got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Killer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Killer took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Trancoso. Gualterio Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Felipe Jaramillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kevin Mier came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Jaramillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. Severo Killer took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Trancoso. Gualterio Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 45th minute, Savion Ruesga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Carpasús FC - FDC's zone, Teofilio Pangua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Mier came out of the goal and Teofilio Pangua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
In the 51st minute of the game Quirce Amador made a throw-in which Ronaldo Albar played forward. Ernesto Isern charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Isern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carpasús FC - FDC's Ernesto Isern got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Jaramillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Severo Killer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpasús FC - FDC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Severo Killer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Loreto Monedero's late challenge caught a BRUGGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loreto Monedero helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Carpasús FC - FDC got a freekick which was hit by Loreto Monedero. Niguel Agreda got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Quirce Amador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilio Pangua in the 71st minute of play forced Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Severo Killer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gualterio Trancoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Niguel Agreda made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Quirce Amador however managed to control. 79 minutes into the game, Quirce Amador threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carpasús FC - FDC's Loreto Monedero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gualterio Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Killer in the 80th minute. Severo Killer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baumar Atencio lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Carpasús FC - FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baumar Atencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpasús FC - FDC's Kevin Mier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilio Pangua in the 95th minute of play. Carpasús FC - FDC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
