An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Agurto in the 32nd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes, Guillelme Andujar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO PORTEÑO and the ORION F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, ORION F.C.'s Giraldo Laiseca threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franklin Agurto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca got control of the ball when Franklin Agurto tried to sneak it across the goal line. ORION F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Fernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Herrera during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Heli Hontoria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Iban Amada got a free kick in the 96th minute. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ORION F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
