The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parvan Hadzhipetkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipo Riazos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Yong Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Filipo Riazos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ made a substitution. Ibar Revuelta replaced Fraco Beite. Filipo Riazos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Chago Letran came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru. But to his dismay, Iordache Opincaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Tibalt Tanasio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Liu Yong Yong. That made the score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Iordache Opincaru made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Chago Letran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Opincaru. Jacek Walczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Chago Letran made a huge save. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibalt Tanasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Jacek Walczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chago Letran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruhi Uluöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Filipo Riazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruhi Uluöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chago Letran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruhi Uluöz ran back to his position shaking his head. Iordache Opincaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chago Letran came out and tried to block the shot, but Iordache Opincaru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 98th minute. OROTINENSE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
