Internacional's Ourente Abello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Polo in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Rocendo Abar came free, but Karim Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Sifi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Internacional booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemanja Vidic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Abarca might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Sifi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 69thth minute of the game Piero Quispe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internacional's Ourente Abello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Internacional's Rocendo Abar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karim Sifi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Piero Quispe. If Oliviero Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donat Collier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Ourente Abello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Internacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
