This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gavino Bernat as he didn't even see the shot coming. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by CERRO PORTEÑO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Firmin Hurones was slow to take the kick. During this time ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's players had a chance to rest. After 20 minutes, Ibar Revuelta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CERRO PORTEÑO booed when ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibar Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Terry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giraldo Laiseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Terry in the 36th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Terry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Terry came free, but Giraldo Laiseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CERRO PORTEÑO booed when ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gar Remolino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
