Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iban Lalo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gavino Cresconio hit a great ball. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Arlo Albiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 13 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Montel Calleja. Arlo Albiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iban Lalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iban Lalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arlo Albiz went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 20th play minutes Conrado Faron shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Iban Lalo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 24 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Astor Elorriaga. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Arlo Albiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlo Albiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iban Lalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. EBK's Iban Lalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save EBK from getting a goal against them. Iban Lalo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Arlo Albiz sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Caaguazu's zone, Regis Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincente Monzon came out of the goal and Regis Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iban Lalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlo Albiz got free with Iban Lalo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to EBK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Montel Calleja hit a great ball. With a little luck, EBK's Iban Lalo got control of the ball when Gilesindo Tarapiella tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Pecha to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Faron in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iban Lalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Caaguazu's Errolan Cillero was substituted for Pankracy Kasiewski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Faron was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 52nd minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Iban Lalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Conrado Faron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iban Lalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 59th minute, Roque Pecha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iban Lalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malvin Vidaurre in the 59th minute of the match. Malvin Vidaurre made a great header on Caaguazu's corner, it was just that EBK's Iban Lalo managed to reach the ball for a save. Arlo Albiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caaguazu made a substitution. Mauro Bocaran replaced Reyes Barcenilla. EBK's Iban Lalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Conrado Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caaguazu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Faron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iban Lalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Faron took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iban Lalo. Iban Lalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilesindo Tarapiella came free, but Iban Lalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Gilesindo Tarapiella notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of EBK's Iban Lalo. Iban Lalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Gilesindo Tarapiella made a precise shot to the right of Iban Lalo. EBK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Iban Lalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Faron in the 81st minute of the match. Iban Lalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Faron went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Iban Lalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Cresconio in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Satordi Persol didn't get a good kick on the ball.
