Gilabert Ruega started the match with the kick off. When Gilabert Ruega came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilabert Ruega couldn't finish the play. When Monitor Huáscar's Gilabert Ruega in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EBK's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilabert Ruega in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iban Lalo saved EBK from getting behind. Iban Lalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilabert Ruega's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Monitor Huáscar's Gilabert Ruega fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iban Lalo. EBK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilabert Ruega in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iban Lalo saved EBK from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Gilabert Ruega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EBK's Iban Lalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Steven Fortis hit a great ball. Ferman Basabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Lereira in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Gilabert Ruega made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. EBK's Iban Lalo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Gilabert Ruega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilabert Ruega in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iban Lalo saved EBK from getting behind. Iban Lalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilabert Ruega's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Luli Lulev came free, but Iban Lalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montel Calleja hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luli Lulev in the 47th minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Iban Lalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

EBK's Iban Lalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save EBK from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of EBK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monitor Huáscar:s goal. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Benigno Torne replaced Steven Fortis. Haimar Moixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Iban Lalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haimar Moixi got free with Iban Lalo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Haimar Moixi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Iban Lalo to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, EBK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Molino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Arintero during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Arintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Torne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 90 in the game by Haimar Moixi from a close distance when the talented Iban Lalo managed to make a qualified save. EBK's players were relieved. In the 94th minute, Gilabert Ruega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Pecha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferman Basabe. Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iban Lalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haimar Moixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The EBK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monitor Huáscar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
