In the 11th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marz Aranguren to maneuver through the defense. Iban Lalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeusz Dziechciowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Iban Lalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Tadeusz Dziechciowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iban Lalo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th play minute Tadeusz Dziechciowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iban Lalo. 2-1. Zsolt Hubina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EBK's Iban Lalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 28th minute of play. Tadeusz Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Iban Lalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakura Storm. Iban Lalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 35th minute of play. Iban Lalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 38th minute of the match. When Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 41st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Iban Lalo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, EBK's Marz Aranguren got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in EBK's zone, Marvelous Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iban Lalo came out of the goal and Marvelous Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's Vinícius Juniors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iban Lalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in EBK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zsolt Hubina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iban Lalo having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Dziechciowski notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of EBK's Iban Lalo. Iban Lalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belarmo Trevilla made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Quintun Solar immediately put the ball in play. Tadeusz Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Iban Lalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakura Storm. After some careless play in the EBK defense, Vinícius Juniors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iban Lalo. The EBK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iban Lalo should have stopped the shot. Xulio Miña charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xulio Miña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, EBK's Xulio Miña got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Vinícius Juniors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
